In its first act, Image-Mouvement explores the expanded nature of the moving image, through the presentation of film, video, installation and performance. It features two major sections: an innovative exhibition open until mid-February 2011, and a four-day-and-night forum of dynamic events. The forum includes three days of filmed, performative discussions with artists' collectives from around the world, open to the public and to specialists alike; three screening cycles; two mediation projects; a convivial salon with nightly music events; and a public arts project testing the frontiers of film-making in the streets of Geneva.
