In Images Sometimes Tremble: Encounters with Durational Cinema, the exhibition space is reconfigured to allow for an encounter with forms of durational cinema that exceed standardised formats of spectatorship to becomes a cinecultural event, a corporeal experience and a collective endeavour.Images Sometimes Tremble was initiated on 25 October 2009 with a screening of Route 181: Fragments of a Journey in Palestine-Israel (270 min, 2004) directed by Eyal Sivan and Michel Khleifi.
